LUMONIX SKIN FX V2.0.8 FOR 3DS MAX - XFORCE - 10 Mb
Skin FX is a 3dsMax based modifier (deformer) that gives the artist the
ability to simulate mesh being deformed or 'sliding over' other objects such as skin sliding over bone or muscle.
'Skin FX' is a 3dsMax based modifier (deformer) that gives the artist the ability to simulate mesh being deformed or 'sliding over' other objects such as skin sliding over bone or muscle. Skin FX can also help to control 'volume loss', which is a common problem with regular skinning techniques.
Skin FX makes it possible to simulate effects such as Skin Sliding, Flesh Jiggle and Tentacle Dynamics at very little performance cost.
Skin FX can be used for many types of effects from:
Muscle deformation to foot prints in snow to faking soft-body deformations.
Finally, Skin FX is an artist driven muscle and skin deformation plug-in. It is not a scientific muscle simulation tool. Instead it gives artists the control and workflow they need to take the next step in skin deformation.

PoserFusion for 3dsmax 9-2008

PoserFusion seamlessly integrates Poser 7 3D character animation technology into Autodesk 3ds Max.
3ds Max artists can now use readily available Poser content and pre-rigged characters to easily create Poser animations and play them back within 3ds Max. Tapping into the vast community of available Poser content, instead of creating content from scratch for 3ds Max animations speeds up your production time dramatically!
Support for Poser 7 and 3ds Max 9-2008 Windows (32-bit only)
Playback of Poser Animations from Within 3ds Max
Create your own animations in Poser or use Poser's automatic walk designer, and your geometry will animate and playback within 3ds Max.
Maintain Link to Poser Files
Make changes easily! After adjusting shaders or making additional modifiers in 3ds max, you can still go back into Poser to change a figure's position, the changes automatically update in 3ds Max!
Playback of Poser Dynamic Hair and Cloth
With PoserFusion, Poser's dynamic hair and cloth will playback in 3ds Max.
Reload Poser Files from Within 3ds Max
Instead of reloading your entire 3ds Max scene, you can just load the updated changes from Poser.
Shader Translation
PoserFusion translates your Poser shaders to 3ds Max Shading Networks, and assigns them to the correct polygons on your characters. For easy transition, all of the base Poser shading parameters are translated into 3ds Max Shaders. including:
Object Color
Highlight Color
Ambient Color
Reflective Color
Color Maps
Transparency Maps
Transparency Min, Max, and Exponent
Bump Maps
Reflection Maps
and More!

HAIRTRIX V1.7.0.74 FOR 3DS MAX (32BIT and 64BIT)
Description
Hairtrix consists of two formerly independent plug-ins, hairfx and Ornatrix that can now be used in concert to create amazing hair and fur effects. Both Ornatrix and hairfx are production-proven hair creation and simulation tools for 3ds Max and they provide users with a multitude of advanced tools for creating realistic hair and fur, and simulating its movement.
With hair creation and simulation, it has always been difficult to achieve good results in a reasonable time frame. Getting hair to look believable is a hard task on its own. Having that hair animate believably can be even harder. The basic idea behind Hairtrix has been to make a combined generalized framework of tools that allow creation, manipulation, and rendering of sub-pixel objects such as hair. This is no easy task because of the complexity level of structures that have to be dealt with. However, Hairtrix makes creating and animating realistic hair and fur quickly and efficiently a reality.
Cure your creatures’ and characters’ baldness by applying the Hairtrix to any 3D geometry in your scene, and within seconds, you’ve got a lush sprouting of everything from short stubble to long silky hair that can be further refined and styled. In any 3ds Max viewport, users can then interactively push, pull, comb and cut Hairtrix hair to match their characters’ needs. Need your character to look like they just got out of bed? Then layer some frizz and randomness to the hairstyle in seconds. Want wet, matted hair for your creature? No problem, just apply spacewarps like gravity as well as complex specular hair shaders to achieve the look you’re after.
HAIRTRIX
Just check out this extensive list of features that Hairtrix offers:
Brush-based hair combing directly within the 3ds Max viewports
Multiple dynamics engines (including Aegia PhysX) allow for complex motion to be created quickly for hair
Cloth Mesh converter provides support for built-in cloth and SimCloth3 dynamics
Advanced anti-aliasing engines for clean renders
Full mental ray support
Improved Surface Distribution dialogs allow new ways to derive parameters from the emitter surfaces
Random Distribution curve controls allow the user to define the exact distribution of a parameter over its range
Better and more flexible export of hair to external plug-in tools and MAXScript.
Improved anti-aliasing through a new thick strand renderer
Rendering in buckets of any size and order to lower memory usage and allow for better integration with ray tracers like finalRender and VRay
Unique channel-based system allows for total control over visual properties of hair and fur including Vertex Color manipulation for real-time changes
Multiple hair specific materials allow for a full control over the final look of your hair
Atmospheric render controls allow users to balance render speed with quality output of their hair and fur creations
Multiple hair modifiers allow layering of effects such as Frizz, Curliness, Direction, Clustering, Strand Detail and much more.

ZBrush 3.1

ZBrush is a digital sculpting tool that combines 3D/2.5D modeling, texturing and painting. It uses a proprietary "pixol" technology (see below) which stores lighting, color, material, and depth information for all objects on the screen. The main difference between ZBrush and more traditional modeling packages is that it is more akin to sculpting.
ZBrush is used as a digital sculpting tool to create high-resolution models (up to millions of polygons, and theoretically unlimited) for use in movies, games, and animations. It is used by companies ranging from ILM to Electronic Arts. ZBrush uses dynamic levels of resolution to allow sculptors to make global or local changes to their models. ZBrush is most known for being able to sculpt medium to high frequency details that were traditionally painted in bump maps. The resulting mesh details can then be exported as normal maps to be used on a low poly version of that same model. They can also be exported as a displacement map, although in that case the lower poly version generally requires more resolution. Or, once completed, the 3D model can be projected to the background, becoming a 2.5D image (upon which further effects can be applied). Work can then begin on another 3D model which can be used in the same scene. This feature lets users work with extremely complicated scenes without heavy processor overhead.
Zbrush was created by the company Pixologic Inc, founded by Ofer Alon and Jack Rimokh. The software was presented in 1999 at SIGGRAPH. The demo version 1.55 was released in 2002 and the software is in 2008 arrived at version 3.1. Ofer Alon is also widely known by CG artists as "Pixolator".
An accredit to the strength of the community surrounding ZBrush, several 'fan'sites have been created around the ZBrush. Sites like iZbrush.com focus on bringing free training materials and resources to all those interested.

PolyBoost offers a wide range of tools for creating various types of subobject selections as well as a set of modelling tools which will make many tasks in everyday modelling a lot easier. Included is also a Viewport texture painting tool, UVW editing tools and a set of useful transform tools. The tools have been developed with the end user very much in mind to enable tools that are user-friendly, fast, stable and above all useful. Autodesk 3ds max contains an existing set of robust modelling tools. Combining these base tools with the PolyBoost tools greatly enhances the users ability, giving them the most fully featured modeller on the market with uses that stretch over all of the different areas of 3d. The feature-list for PolyBoost is quite xtensive with over 100 unique tools, below you can view some of the main features with more detailed descriptions.
